| First of all you'll need to learn how to say "I'm sorry for [reason]." |
| The pattern is: Desculpa [reason]. |
| This Portuguese sentence literally translates as "Sorry [reason]." But it means "I'm sorry for [reason].". |
| For example: |
| "I'm sorry for being late." |
| Desculpa chegar atrasado., Desculpa chegar atrasado. |
| Now, how do you respond that it's okay? |
| Não se preocupe. |
| "Don't worry about it." |
