Oi gente! This is Jade Furuta, and welcome to Portuguese weekly words. Today’s theme is clothing accessories.
So, the first word is…
1. cachecol "scarf"
Eu adoro o meu cachecol verde. "I adore my green scarf."
It’s Ariel color.
2. chapéu "hat"
Eu tenho um chapéu com a bandeira do Brasil. "I have a hat with the Brazilian flag."
I got this for work out.
3. colar "necklace"
Eu quero comprar um colar de pérolas. "I want to buy a pearl necklace."
I remember when I was a kid, and I thought pearl necklaces were just like the most beautiful thing in the world. Probably because I saw girls, beautiful women wearing them in nice movies, and so I really want one, I really want one.
4. luvas "gloves"
É difícil para mim comprar luvas. "It's hard for me to buy gloves."
Because I have really long fingers and they always stop right here, yeah.
5. brincos "earrings"
Eu quero comprar brincos de jade. "I want to buy jade earrings."
Because I have the necklace, I have a bracelet, but I've never had jade earrings, so yeah I wanna buy a matching one.
