Eric: Here's the way to say 'I am Japanese.' in Portuguese.
Ana: [Normal] Eu sou japonês.
Eric: First is a word meaning 'I'
Ana: [Normal] eu [Slow] eu
Eric: Next is the word meaning 'am'

Eric: Last is the word meaning 'Japanese'

Ana: Always remember that most Portuguese adjectives have masculine and feminine forms. For example, depending on the gender of the person, Japanese can be either japonês or japonesa, and Brazilian could be brasileiro or brasileira. So make sure to conjugate according to the person or object you're referring to.
